Welcome to 3rd Grade! My name is Mrs. Thelen and I am very excited to be your third grade teacher. This will be a fun year to learn and discover new and interesting things. We will also make new and long lasting friendships! I am very excited to have you in my classroom this year.

Here is a little about myself:

• I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Michigan State University. (Go GREEN!)

• I received my Masters Degree through MSU in Educational Technology and I cannot wait to share all of the cool and exciting things I have learned! I hope you love technology as much as I do! :)

  ​

• This is my 7th year teaching. I taught in Michigan for three years and then moved to Charlotte where I will continue to teach and do what I love.
   

• My husband, Dave and I have a boxer-beagle mix named Parker. She keeps us active and loves to go for hikes, but she loves to cuddle too!
   

• I was born and raised in Michigan where my family still lives. I have two wonderful parents and have three younger brothers, who love to play sports!

• In my free time I love to spend time with my family and friends, read, craft, take photographs, and go to the beach.
   

• My favorite stores are Target, AC Moore, Etsy & Charming Charlies. I also love Starbucks!
